1. Kwun Tong Line
Opened in 1979, the Kwun Tong Line was part of the original MTR network. It first connected the Central area to Kowloon and was later extended to the eastern side of Kowloon and the New Territories.
The Kwun Tong Line is marked with a dark green color. Here are some attractions close to the Kwun Tong Line:

2. Tuen Ma Line
The Tuen Ma Line was introduced in 2020. This brown colour-coded line combines the West Rail Line and Ma On Shan Line. The West Rail Line was created to link the northwestern New Territories with urban Kowloon.
The Ma On Shan Line, on the other hand, was made to serve the Ma On Shan area in the New Territories. Initially, it was a branch of the East Rail Line until it joined the Tuen Ma Line in 2020.

3. Island Line

It plays an important role in easing traffic congestion along the island's congested northern corridor. The line began operations in 1985 and is colour-coded dark blue.

4. South Island Line

5. Tsuen Wan Line
